This is a French cuisine cookbook published by our long-time French business partner Les Edition de Saxe.
Aside from its outstanding content about French cuisine, another perspective for the book to stand out from the competitive cook book market is the binding. The casebound book has sponge on both the front and back of the cover. We sticked very firm 2mm sponge to the board before making the cases, and thus brought readers a different feeling when they touched the books.
A cook book with plenty of images, some of the opposite pages have the situation that one side has rich colors and the other side has large part of blank space. With matt art paper, the ink on the rich color side will be easily rubbed off and thus make the other side dirty. To avoid such problem, we varnished some of the pages with rich colors.
