The book is a new title published by Lonely Planet.
The material of the inner pages is uncoated woodfree paper. Unlike Matt Art or Glossy Art paper, the uncoated woodfree paper is more ink-absorbing, which often makes the colors much darker than what the colors appear on screen or digital proofs.
To make sure that the colors printed on woodfree paper are sharp and beautiful, we use the ISO standard specifically for woodfree paper. As you can expect, our client is very happy about the colors.
For hardbound books, especially this pictorial book published by renowned Lonely Planet, a firm cover is very important. We use the top-level 3mm board as the cover material and the automated casemaking machine to efficiently to produce the covers.
