This is a cost-driven, market oriented book about the collections in Louvre Museum. As the client is very much cost driven, we worked with the client to design the most cost-effective trim size, page counts, binding method as well as the paper selection even before the print order is placed. The flexibound option both meets the target of cost saving and the perception of high quality.

The publisher of this book required a very cost-driven strategy.
In the meantime, the printing and binding quality must be in a very decent standard given the book is about the famous Louvre.
So instead of following the exact specifications given by clients, we worked with the client from the beginning of the project to reduce the cost.
We worked with the client to design the most cost-effective trim size, page counts, binding method as well as the paper selection even before the print order is placed.
We also used the flexibound for the binding. So the book is very successful and the client later published many other successful titles with exactly the same specifications.
